May 30th will be a record-breaking event as boaters of all sorts from all over Florida will gather to celebrate the conclusion of the National Safe Boating Week and the end to the Space Coast’s Second Annual Boating Month. The event will promote and highlight the recreational, economic, and ecological benefits of our shared waterways.
The event will feature raffle drawings with plans to give away a 2010 Ford Mustang, 700 hundred gallons of fuel and 300 gallons of fuel. BoatFlorida.com is working to raise $100,000 to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the most anticipated on-water boating gatherings of this summer and raise money for a great cause. This gigantic boating event will feature an island luau theme, live band / entertainment, a bar-b-que, drinks, children and adult island games, water volleyball, giveaways and much more.
"WaterFest is about family, friends, boating, great entertainment, great fun, the environment, and togetherness with fellow boaters," explained John K., founder of BoatFlorida.com. "We are proud to be able to contribute to Big Brothers Big Sisters, a worthwhile charity that has done so many great things in our local communities. We look forward to drawing for these great prizes at our event. There are a limited number of tickets available so we encourage everyone to act quickly before they're all gone."
